2016- Progress

January 8, 2017 Blog 0

Although this is quite late, happy new year everyone!

2016 was a major year for me. That’s when this website started and took off.

I thought it would be interesting to look at how this website has grown in the past year.

Without further ado, let’s jump into the results.

So, the website was first created in February of 2016. I’m not sure of the exact date.

Overall for 2016, I had:

-1,045 visitors

-Over 700 views referred from Facebook, Instagram, and twitter

-Over 400 views from countries other than the United States

-Over a dozen subscribers to the email list (which I have yet to send anything out on)

Site traffic had solid growth in February and March, crashing in April. Due to inactivity, site traffic was basically nonexistent, until mid July where there was a major boost. There was another crash is September, but traffic skyrocketed in October, with over 800 views and over 500 visitors. Unsurprisingly, traffic fell dramatically after October, but November+December still had a solid 300 views.

-Average of 1.78 views per visitor

-20 posts published

Personally, 2016 was a busy year for me. I went to Dubai, Pittsburg, Vancouver, and New York. I met Daniel Craig, and started high school.

This site has far exceeded my expectations. My gratitude for all of you who helped this site grown along the way cannot be put into words.

So far, 2017 is looking good. In just these past 8 days, I’ve had 46 views, 21 visitors, and a 2.19 views per visitor rate.

I think it’s safe to expect around 4-5 thousand views by the end of the year.

Well, that’s been my review for last year.

Bye!
